GREEN HYDROGEN · TUNISIA · IN DEVELOPMENT

The lightest element. The heaviest opportunity of our century.

Hy2 is a green-hydrogen production project taking shape on the Tunisian shore — where sun, wind and sea converge to split water into pure energy. We are assembling the partners who will build it.

01 /VISION

Turning Tunisian sun into the world's cleanest fuel.

Hy2 was founded on a simple observation: the Mediterranean's southern shore has more solar hours than almost anywhere on Earth, a coastline for export, and a chemistry — H₂O — that will not run out. Our vision is to convert that abundance into green hydrogen, an energy vector that industry, mobility and grids can use without emitting a single gram of CO₂. We are not selling molecules yet. We are drawing the map, gathering the studies, and choosing the people who will build the first plant.

02 /PROCESS

From photon to molecule, in five deliberate steps.

Green hydrogen is not a promise — it is a chain of engineered stages. Each link is measured, monitored and optimised so that what enters as sunlight leaves as a molecule ready to power industry, transport and grids.

Two water molecules become two hydrogen molecules and one oxygen molecule — using nothing but renewable electricity.

  1. stage 01
    01

    Renewable generation

Solar and wind farms across southern Tunisia harvest the region's abundant clean power.

  2. stage 02
    02

    Water intake & purification

Seawater or brackish water is desalinated and purified to feed the electrolysis stacks.

  3. stage 03
    03

    Electrolysis

An electric current splits H₂O into hydrogen and oxygen — no combustion, no carbon.

  4. stage 04
    04

    Compression & storage

Hydrogen is dried, compressed and stored — or converted to ammonia for export.

  5. stage 05
    05

    Delivery

Molecules are dispatched by pipeline, truck or ship toward European and African off-takers.

03 /APPLICATIONS

One molecule. Three levers to decarbonise a continent.

03 uses / 01 molecule
Heavy industry
01 / 03
Heavy industry

Steel, ammonia, refineries, cement — the sectors electrification cannot reach. Hydrogen replaces fossil feedstock at the source.

Mobility
02 / 03
Mobility

Long-haul trucking, shipping, aviation and rail — every kilometre where batteries fall short, green hydrogen keeps engines turning cleanly.

Storage & grid
03 / 03
Storage & grid

A chemical battery for renewables. Store terawatt-hours in summer, release them through fuel cells or turbines in winter.

04 /PARTNERSHIP

We are looking for the people who build things.

Hy2 is at the moment when a project becomes a company. We are opening conversations with investors ready to back a decade-long infrastructure, developers who know how to bring a plant online, industrial off-takers seeking a stable low-carbon supply, and technology providers who want a lighthouse project on the southern Mediterranean.

01 / 04
Investors

Equity and project finance for a first-of-kind Tunisian asset.

02 / 04
Developers & EPC

Engineering, procurement and construction partners with hydrogen credentials.

03 / 04
Industrial off-takers

Long-term buyers of green H₂ or its derivatives (ammonia, e-fuels).

04 / 04
Technology providers

Electrolyser OEMs, storage, compression and desalination specialists.
